Gourmet Olive Tapenade Tomato Crostini

Ingredients
1 Jar of Olive Affairs Olive Tapenade
16 thin slices of bread
2 cloves garlic, cut in half
16 small ripe, firm tomatoes, sliced
fresh basil leaves
freshly ground pepper


Toast the bread on both sides and immediately rub with garlic. Spread a thin
layer of olive tapenade on the bread and top with a few slices of tomato. Put
a few basil leaves between the tomatoes. Sprinkle with a generous amount
of pepper. Serve at once.
Note: If you can’t get your hands on truly fresh and delicious tomatoes, use
canned tomatoes, which are more flavorful than most supermarket tomatoes.
